  • NEVER use your real name or any derivative thereof
  • NEVER give out private data such as address, name, date of birth, place of birth, personal pictures or similar, not even briefly, there are people who collect this individual information and use it to build a profile about you through social engineering.
  • If you publish photos turn off the storage of metadata on your camera and check this beforehand with programs or online to ensure that your photos cannot be traced back to you
  • DO NOT commit crimes such as child pornography, writing to minors, or admitting to committing a crime (unless you have been fined for it, but then never say when)
  • NEVER open pictures sent to you by someone you don’t know or where the picture hoster doesn’t tell you anything, or google it beforehand, some picture hosters are fake and are used to record your IP address
  • NEVER open other files, programs or similar that are sent to you over the Internet, they can infect you with malware that uses your IP address to “phone home”
  • NEVER load any data onto your phone, even if you format it, the data is mostly recoverable. Disables microphones and webcams especially on laptops
  • NEVER meet anyone (unless you are an activist and they have accreditation and a press card)
  • NEVER use the same password for several pages or pages that you use privately and for the discussion about your sexual orientation.
  • Always keep your hard drive 100% encrypted and turn off your computer when not working on it, going away or sleeping, and if your are American use Hidden Volume Option of VeraCrypt
  • NEVER write anything that may indicate your identity for legal discussion of your Sexual Orientation on paper or anywhere else in real life.
